I bought my own keg in Idaho and turns out it’s illegal to fill your own keg. Could I hop over to Washington and fill it?
When my keg is empty, I take it to the distributor and trade it in for a full one. This is much easier, and probably less expensive, than filling an empty one with home brew. We are fortunate to be able to get Yeungling beer in Ohio, so no need to brew my own.
Is it possible to use fly ash for embankments (highway/railway) without any failure?
Well in the modern world we can mix the fly ash with different admixtures and make it up to the mark and carry out the slopes which can be used for pavement or railway construction. Even fly ash pavements are actually into play. The characterstics of fly ash is improved using the admixtures and required design is made for it.Here you can find more: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/pavemen...
Which forms do I fill out for taxes in California? I have a DBA/sole proprietorship company with less than $1000 in profit. How many forms do I fill out? This is really overwhelming. Do I need to fill the Form 1040-ES? Did the deadline pass?
You need to file two tax returns- one Federal Tax Form and another California State income law.My answer to your questions are for Tax Year 2018The limitation date for tax year 15.04.2018Federal Tax return for Individual is Form 1040 . Since you are carrying on proprietorship business, you will need to fill the Schedule C in Form 1040Form 1040 -ES , as the name suggests is for paying estimated tax for the current year. This is not the actual tax return form. Please note that while Form 1040, which is the return form for individuals, relates to the previous year, the estimated tax form (Form 1040-EZ ) calculates taxes for the current year.As far as , the tax return under tax laws of Californa State is concerned, the Schedule CA (540) Form is to be used for filing state income tax return . You use your federal information (forms 1040) to fill out your 540 FormPrashanthttp://irstaxapp.com
Which are the major highways in California and how are they compared to the major highways in Washington?
If you weren’t trying to ask a question about the how the roads in CA compare the roads in every other state in the country, maybe I’d take this seriously and give you an answer. Otherwise this is just strange and getting pretty sad!
If you witness an accident on the highway and call 911, is there any way to find out if the people involved are okay?
In my experience not usually. I work on the ambulance that responds to said emergency, and I usually don't even know what ends up happening to the patient after we drop them off at the hospital. The only way I usually find out is if I see them in the obituaries. So, the 911 call-taker is even less likely to know the end result, and you as the 911 caller very unlikely to ever find out unless it hits the news or, like I said, makes it into the obituaries. I really don't know how you as a bysrander could find out. You might be able to contact the ambulance/police/fire department and see if they know anything, but keep in mind we do this multiple times a week and tend to forget most calls quickly. Local hospitals might know too, but they very rarely give away anything about the patient.
How often does the highway connecting Lahaina to Makena close due to accidents/fires? For how long?
You’re actually talking about two different highways… Honoapiilani Highway, that gets you to Maalaea (and goes on to Wailuku and Kahului) and then you must turn left on Piilani Highway to get to Makena. The intersection of those two roads sees accidents occasionally.. and it can back things up for hours. The cops work as fast as they can to get things cleared up. But there isn’t a real alternate route unless you have a boat.
How does one get invited to the Quora Partner Program? What criteria do they use, or is it completely random?
I live in Germany. I got an invite to the Quora partner program the day I landed in USA for a business trip. So from what I understand, irrespective of the number of views on your answers, there is some additional eligibility criteria for you to even get an email invite. If you read the terms of service, point 1 states:Eligibility. You must be located in the United States to participate in this Program. If you are a Quora employee, you are eligible to participate and earn up to a maximum of $200 USD a month. You also agree to be bound by the Platform Terms (https://www.quora.com/about/tos) as a condition of participation.Again, if you check the FAQ section:How can other people I know .participate? The program is invite-only at this time, but we intend to open it up to more people as time goes on.So my guess is that Quora is currently targeting people based out of USA, who are active on Quora, may or may not be answering questions frequently ( I have not answered questions frequently in the past year or so) and have a certain number of consistent answer views.Edit 1: Thanks to @Anita Scotch, I got to know that the Quora partner program is now available for other countries too. Copying Anuta’s comment here:If you reside in one of the Countries, The Quora Partner Program is active in, you are eligible to participate in the program.” ( I read more will be added, at some point, but here are the countries, currently eligible at this writing,) U.S., Japan, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Australia.11/14/2018Edit 2 : Here is the latest list of countries with 3 new additions eligible for the Quora Partner program:U.S., Japan, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, India and Brazil. Thanks to Monoswita Rez for informing me about this update.
